Biotium Tyramide Amplification Kit with HRP Streptavidin and CF543 Tyramide
Tyramide amplification, sometimes called Catalyzed Reporter Deposition (CARD), is an enzyme-mediated detection method that uses the catalytic activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to generate high density labeling of a target protein or nucleic acid sequence in situ. The tyramide amplification method has been reported to increase the sensitivity by up to 100-fold compared to the conventional avidin-biotinylated complex procedure. The kit contains HRP goat anti-mouse CF543 dye tyramide. The dye has an excitation/emission of 541/560 nm. The kit contains sufficient reagent for 50-150 slides.

Biotium Furaptra, AM Ester, 20x50ug
Furaptra, AM ester is a membrane-permeant form of Furaptra (Mag-Fura-2). The indicator is loaded into cells via simple incubation, where it is cleaved by cytoplasmic esterases to release Mag-Fura-2. Properties: Light yellow solid soluble in DMSO; Store at -20°C and protect from light; C30H30N2O19; MW: 723

Biotium CF488A, Aminooxy
Aminooxy dyes have an aminooxy reactive group, which can be used to label a target molecule with an aldehyde or ketone group. An aminooxy group readily reacts with an aldehyde or ketone group to form a stable linkage without the use of a reducing agent. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Green fluorescent CF488A dye has excitation/emission at 490/515 nm.

Biotium Fura-2, AM Ester, 20x50ug
Fura-2, AM ester is an intracellular fluorescent calcium indicator, and the preferred dye for ratiometric imaging microscopy. The membrane-permeant AM ester can be loaded into cells via incubation, but due to limited water solubility, a mild detergent Pluronic F-127 is often used to facilitate cell loading. Fura-2, AM ester itself does not bind Ca2, but intracellular esterases readily hydrolyze it to Fura-2. Upon calcium binding, the excitation maximum of Fura-2 undergoes a blue-shift from 363 nm (no Ca2) to 335 nm (high Ca2) while the emission maximum is relatively unchanged. Measure by flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, or certain fluoresence microplate readers. Properties: Light yellow solid soluble in DMSO; Store at -20°C, protect from light, especially in solution; Kd: 145 nM (22°C, pH 7.2 buffer); Ex/Em = 363/512 nm, e = 27,000 M-1cm-1 (no Ca2); Ex/Em 335/505 nm, e = 35,000 M-1cm-1 (high Ca2); C44H47N3O24; MW: 1001.9; [108964-32-5].

STEMCELL Technologies GloCell™ Fixable Viability Dye Red 780, Size: 500 Tests
GloCell™ Fixable Viability Dye Red 780 is a fluorescent cell viability dye for staining live/dead mammalian cells in applications such as flow cytometry. The dye irreversibly binds intracellular and cell surface amine groups and can be utilized prior to fixation, permeabilization, or cryopreservation. Cells with compromised plasma membranes become permeable to the GloCell™ dye, resulting in a greater fluorescence compared to live cells in a cell viability assay.GloCell™ Fixable Viability Dye Red 780 is excited by the red laser at 633 nm and it has a fluorescence emission maximum of 780 nm that can be detected using the 780/60 band pass filter used to detect APC-Cy7.

Biotium CF640R Biocytin
Fluorescent biocytin conjugates are cell-impermeant, fixable polar tracers with biotin and an aldehyde-fixable primary amine groups. Polar tracers are commonly used to investigate cell-cell and cell-liposome fusion as well as membrane permeability and transport through gap junctions or cell uptake during pinocytosis. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF640R dye has excitation/emission at 642/662 nm.

Biotium CF640R Hydrazide
Our CF dye hydrazides are bright, extremely water-soluble and nontoxic. These properties make the dyes excellent fixable polar tracers for microinjection into cells. Hydrazides also can be used for labeling aldehyde or ketone groups, however, for this application we recommend using the more reactive CF dye aminooxy forms. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF640R dye has excitation/emission at 642/662 nm.
